“It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.” - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
Little Rose began as a Utah-based online magazine of literature and art, aiming to confront issues of identity, such as gender, race, class, religion, intersectionality, internet identity, and culture. It retains those core elements but has grafted itself across more Southwest terrain. We want to give artists and authors a space to reveal everything about the human experience - the good, bad, ugly, and everything in between.

Gregorio Tafoya is an aspiring novelist with an advanced degree in comparative literature from Project Gutenberg. He will forever be jealous of the creator of storiesaboutprince.blogspot.com and wishes to have been the first writer to lament, in an author bio, about not writing the play Arcadia. He reviews books for Drizzle Review. The photo to the left is the last time he took himself seriously.
